WEEE PLASTICS WITH BFRs

This section aims to provide an overview on the plastic consumption in the EU and on emerging European Union legislation on different categories of plastic waste. The main focus will be on the consumption of plastics in E&E equipment and on the recently adopted legislation on Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment and on the Restriction of Certain Hazardous Substances in electrical and electronic equipment, the so-called WEEE and RoHS Directives. This section will also provide an outline of the main provisions included in both Directives and on the status of implementation.
