BSEF appoints new Secretary General
BSEF aisbl, is pleased to announce the appointment of Michael Hack as the new Secretary General. Effective 1st October 2021, and pending regulatory filings, Michael Hack succeeds Dr. Kevin Bradley, who has been Secretary General for the past 6 years.
As Secretary General, Michael will provide leadership to the BSEF activities in its support for bromine and bromine-based technologies.

Michael Hack is an experienced public affairs professional who has worked in the chemical, FMCG, finance, health, and circular economy sector. His experience of over 17 years spans roles as Director of an European chemical association, Adviser, Partner and Co-Founder in a public affairs agency.
BSEF – the International Bromine Council, is the global representative body for bromine producers and producers of bromine technologies. Originally founded in 1997, BSEF works to foster knowledge on the societal benefits of bromine and its applications. The members of BSEF are Albemarle Corporation, ICL Industrial Products, Lanxess and Tosoh.
