BSEF appoints new Secretary General

BSEF aisbl, is pleased to announce the appointment of Michael Hack as the new Secretary General. Effective 1st October 2021, and pending regulatory filings, Michael Hack succeeds Dr. Kevin Bradley, who has been Secretary General for the past 6 years.

As Secretary General, Michael will provide leadership to the BSEF activities in its support for bromine and bromine-based technologies.

“We are very pleased to have Michael join us and help steer us through the challenges that lie ahead.  Along with my fellow Directors, I would also like to pay tribute to Kevin Bradley for helping to consolidate BSEF’s position in the EU and globally. We wish Kevin well in his new endeavors“, says K. Kannah, BSEF chairman of the board, representing member company Lanxess.

Michael Hack is an experienced public affairs professional who has worked in the chemical, FMCG, finance, health, and circular economy sector.  His experience of over 17 years spans roles as Director of an European chemical association, Adviser, Partner and Co-Founder in a public affairs agency.
